The “a” revision keeps the same incredible 61MP full-frame sensor and core performance, but Sony upgraded the rear LCD to a higher-resolution 2.36-million-dot display, compared with the original a7R IV's 1.44-million-dot screen. Sony also made some minor usability/connectivity updates, including USB-C improvements. The a7R IV(a) is the newer, refined version of the a7R IV.
